Liebster Award!!

I am honored to say that Cathy@ Cathy's Craft Corner has passed her Liebster Award along to me.
This award acknowledges up and coming bloggers for outstanding accomplishments within design that is presented on their blog.

Like many, I tried looking up the origins of the Liebster Blog Award, but couldn't find an exact source.  Liebster means "dearest" or "favorite" in German, and the award is given as a form of recognition and support for smaller, up and coming blogs.

What happens next is that I thank and give a shout-out to the blogger who presented me with the award, and in turn pass Liebster on to 3-5 other bloggers whose work I appreciate and admire.

Here are the rules for accepting the award:

1. Each blogger should post 11 random facts about themselves.

2. Answer the questions the tagger has set for you, and then create 11 new questions for the chosen bloggers.

3. Choose 3-5 new bloggers (with less than 200 followers) to pass the award to and link them in your post.

4. Go back to their page and tell them about the award.

5. No tag backs.

1. What is your description of a perfect day? A perfect day for me would be sleeping in LATE, waking up to a sunny day beside my precious husband, having a cup of coffee, vegging to a movie, then onto a late lunch downtown. To end the day would be a nice plate of spaghetti, a fire in the fireplace and a warm blanket to share with my hubby.

2. What project have you done or created that you are most proud of? I would have to say the scrapbook of my granddaughter Chloe. She was with us 7 days and I tried to capture the precious moments with her and make the memory even more special.

3. How long have you been blogging and what got you started? I only started blogging in September of 2012. I found a lot of blog articles on Pinterest and thought ya know, I can try this!

4. What is your favorite style of decor?Favorite decor style would have to be a combination of traditional and rustic... with a comfy twist.

 5. Who or what gives you the most inspiration?The goodness in people, the faith of Christians and the love of friends and family.

6. What is your favorite season of the year? Hands down, AUTUMN.

 7. Who do you admire the most?Wow this is a hard one. There is not just one. The spiritual of course is Jesus who gave his life. My parents, my grandparents, my aunts, my friends and the unconditional love of my husband, my daughter for her courage.

8. What is your favorite blog to follow? Jen@Iheartorganizing it gives me hope that one day my entire home will be organized in an amazing way!

  9. Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited? This has yet to be determined. One day I will find that special, amazing place.

10. Describe your home decor. Comfy, cozy with a lot of love.

11. Do you enjoy outdoor activities? Such as? I love being near water- lakes especially. I love to be outside with my dogs. I like swings. I love love snow.
